Entry-Level Cultivation Technician (Veg & Mother Room) Nexleaf Dispensary LLC Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time From $16 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Teamwork Sanitation Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Organizational skills Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Entry-Level Cultivation Technician to support daily operations in our vegetative and mother plant rooms. This position plays a key role in maintaining plant health, supporting production schedules, and ensuring all cultivation spaces are clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in plant cultivation within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily plant care, including feeding, watering, and monitoring overall plant health Transplant clones into appropriate growing media and containers with attention to root development and plant stability Support the preparation and planting of flower rooms, including staging plants and ensuring proper spacing and organization Perform routine maintenance tasks such as pruning, defoliation, and general upkeep of vegetative and mother plants Maintain strict cleanliness standards by cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces to prevent contamination and pests Assist with occasional cloning, including cutting, labeling, and maintaining propagation environments Accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with basic record-keeping as needed Work collaboratively with the cultivation team to meet production goals and timelines
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks (standing for long periods, lifting, bending, repetitive motions) Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Basic knowledge or interest in plant care, horticulture, or cultivation is a plus but not required
