Job Summary Trimmers are responsible for the careful manicuring and preparation of harvested cannabis flower to meet Nostalgic's quality standards. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and pride in craftsmanship to ensure every product reflects the quality and care invested throughout the cultivation process. Trimmers at Nostalgic will have the opportunity to cross-train into other departments such as Plant Tech, Harvest Team, Packaging Team, etc. We believe in a well-rounded staff with a full-time employment opportunity. Trimmers work closely with the post-harvest team to hand-trim flower, remove excess plant material, sort and grade finished product, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and assist with packaging preparation as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, focused, and capable of maintaining quality and efficiency while adhering to all company procedures and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Trimming & Flower Preparation Perform hand-trimming and/or machine-assisted trimming of cannabis flower according to SOPs. Manicure flower to meet internal quality, appearance, and weight standards. Handle flower carefully to preserve trichomes, structure, and overall quality. Sort, segregate, and stage trimmed flower by batch or lot. Compliance, OMMA & Documentation Follow OMMA regulations and internal SOPs related to post-harvest handling and processing. Maintain proper batch identification, labeling, and segregation throughout trimming. Accurately record trimming output, weights, and waste as required. Support proper waste handling and disposal in compliance with OMMA rules. Sanitation, Safety & Biosecurity Maintain clean and sanitized trimming tools, equipment, and workspaces. Follow sanitation, PPE, and biosecurity protocols at all times. Assist with cleaning and resetting trim rooms between batches. Maintain inspection-ready trimming areas. Teamwork & Performance Work collaboratively with trim, post-harvest, and inventory teams. Follow direction from the Production Manager. Maintain consistent productivity, accuracy, and attendance. Report quality issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications Required Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Dependable work ethic and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness to follow SOPs and compliance requirements. Preferred Cannabis trimming or post-harvest experience. Oklahoma cannabis industry experience. Basic knowledge of OMMA regulations. Experience with batch tracking or METRC support. Physical & Work Requirements Full-time, on-site work in a cultivation facility. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements. Ability to lift up to 30lbs as needed. Must meet all OMMA eligibility requirements for employment in the Oklahoma medical marijuana industry.
