We cultivate premium cannabis using multiple cultivation styles within a single facility to maximize the performance of specific cultivars. Position Overview Panda Farms is seeking an experienced Head Grower to oversee all cultivation operations and maintain the highest standards of plant health, facility organization, compliance, and product quality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and productive cultivation environment. This role requires strong leadership, accountability, regulatory compliance expertise, and a hands-on approach to daily cultivation activities. Key ResponsibilitiesCultivation Operations Manage all day-to-day cultivation activities in accordance with production schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Oversee seed germination, cloning, transplanting, defoliation, irrigation, feeding, harvesting, and waste management Monitor plant health and identify nutrient deficiencies, toxicities, pests, or diseases Implement and maintain Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols Monitor, record, and analyze environmental conditions throughout cultivation and production rooms Maintain cultivation equipment, systems, and infrastructure Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for HVAC systems, pumps, timers, dehumidifiers, irrigation systems, and other facility equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cultivation environment Communicate regularly with management and cultivation team members to ensure operational alignment Compliance & Inventory Management Maintain accurate records in Metrc and ensure all plant, inventory, and operational data is up to date Ensure compliance with all Oregon cannabis regulations and facility SOPs Prepare for and host OLCC and other regulatory inspections Conduct routine inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records Leadership & Operations Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and team performance Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture Train, mentor, and support cultivation staff while promoting professional development Develop and maintain operational reports, including yield, trim, and production metrics Provide management with insights on facility performance and opportunities for improvement Participate in emergency response and be available to address urgent facility or staffing issues when necessary Maintenance & Facility Management Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for cultivation equipment and facility systems Coordinate repairs and operational improvements to ensure uninterrupted production Monitor facility performance and proactively address issues before they impact operations QualificationsRequired Minimum 5 years of indoor cannabis cultivation experience Strong understanding of plant health, nutrition, genetics, pests, diseases, and environmental controls Experience working within regulated cannabis operations Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to maintain accurate records and manage compliance requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods Must be at least 21 years of age Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit Preferred Experience in a licensed Oregon cannabis cultivation facility Knowledge of Metrc inventory management software General facility maintenance, construction, or mechanical troubleshooting experience What We're Looking For The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, maintains high standards, and understands that cleanliness, organization, and consistency directly impact product quality.
