In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. Your expertise will help promote healthy plant growth, conserve water, and enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your technical skills, and contribute to beautiful, sustainable landscapes. •Time management and communication are VERY important.•Posted starting amount is during the probationary period. After 90 day review potential for pay increase. Any licensing or certifications have potential for higher wage DOE. A large majority of our work we do fall under prevailing wage. Responsibilities Install new irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing irrigation systems to prevent leaks and ensure proper operation Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with irrigation components including valves, controllers, sprinklers, and pipes Repair or replace damaged parts promptly to minimize water waste and system downtime Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, and general landscaping duties as needed Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and repair logs for future reference Experience 3-4 years experience working with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor construction projects Minimum 2 years of experience in reading, interpreting, and implementing irrigation site plans and blueprints Mechanical knowledge of sprinkler components, and power tools is essential Hands-on experience operating excavators, trenchers, moving and loading related equipment is a plus Knowledge of landscaping techniques and general land management practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
