Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Farm Equipment Shop Assistant, where your hands-on skills and mechanical expertise will keep our agricultural machinery running smoothly and efficiently. In this full-time role, you will have a variety of responsibilities including maintaining all equipment and farm vehicles, managing field teams, preparation, planting, management and harvesting of crops, orchard and nursery trees and supporting the retail and wholesale operations as needed. Responsibilities Assist with the repair and maintenance of farm equipment, including tractors, sprayers, wagons, trailers, forklifts, skid-steers, farm vehicles/trucks, road tractors, loaders, utility vehicles and landscape equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to perform mechanical repairs and electrical troubleshooting Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues with diesel engines, generators, HVAC, and other complex systems Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and basic diagnostics. Prepare, plant and manage harvest for all crops, orchard and nursery trees. Maintain a clean, organized shop environment while adhering to safety protocols for welding, electrical work, and heavy lifting Qualifications Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with farm equipment use and repair Strong mechanical knowledge Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and basic vehicle diagnostics Knowledge of/experience in sprayer operation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Willingness to work indoors and outside in all types of weather Ability to work overtime as needed each season CDL preferred Drivers License required Earn from $20-24/hour to start (based on experience)

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
