Job Description

Position Overview:
Elite Coastal Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can handle irrigation installation and repair projects from start to finish, ensuring reliable water systems for our clients. If you take pride in your work and have a solid background in irrigation systems, this is a great opportunity to join a growing company that values quality craftsmanship. We provide a company truck for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new irrigation systems, including trenching, laying pipe, setting heads, and connecting to water sources Diagnose and repair existing irrigation system malfunctions, including leaks, coverage issues, and control panel problems Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and smart systems Perform necessary system blowouts and winterization procedures Operate company truck and related equipment safely and efficiently Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and materials used Communicate clearly with crew leaders regarding job status and material needs Adhere to all safety protocols on job sites
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of direct experience in irrigation installation and repair required Proven ability to install and troubleshoot complete irrigation systems independently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong knowledge of backflow prevention, pipe sizing, and sprinkler head selection
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay:
$18-$25 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits available after 90 days, including insurance options PTO One week of paid vacation after one year of employment Paid holidays
