Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer's location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Failure to do so may disqualify the worker from the assurances of this Job Order. Worksites are located in in Chesterfield County South Carolina. The housing is in McBee, South Carolina. D.
Job Offer:

Crops:
Peaches, Strawberries, Blackberries, Grapes, Squash, Corn, Potatoes, Watermelons, Cantaloupes, Cucumbers, Pumpkins, Collards, Onions, Tomatoes, Beans, Peas, Vegetables, Peanuts, Cotton, Soybeans, Millet, Rye, Sericea. This farm work position includes duties associated with planting, pruning, thinning, picking, packing, seed cleaning, and post-harvest field clean. Workers will perform multiple duties all associated with the employers' crops. This work can require standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for long periods of time outdoors in all weather conditions. It also includes making important decisions based on size, coloring, and ripeness according to prescribed standards.
Pruning Peach Trees:
While pruning trees, workers will receive proper tools for the particular job, i.e., saw, prunes, and hand snips. These tools will be returned to the employer at the end of the task. The cost of tools destroyed maliciously or lost carelessly will be charged to the worker. The supervisor will set a standard or pattern for each orchard and will demonstrate and communicate this to workers. Workers will be assigned rows of trees and must prune each tree according to the predetermined standard. In some instances, fruit pruning will be done from a six-foot ladder weighing up to 30 lbs. All workers must be able to lift and carry ladder, as well as work from the top of the ladder. Workers must remove all resulting material from the fruit trees rendered from performing pruning tasks. When pruning is complete on each tree, each worker is required to rake and scatter the resulting brush in the center of the tractor/equipment middles. As each row is pruned, workers will receive credit for the number of trees pruned. This number is transferred manually or electronically for production records. Workers will be required to pick up and return pruning ladders to the ladder wagon provided by the grower at the end of each workday or as directed by the grower or designed supervisor.
Thinning Peach Trees:
While thinning trees, workers will be instructed as to how close together fruit should be spaced, and which fruit are most desirable to leave or take. The supervisor will set a standard or pattern for each orchard and will demonstrate and communicate this to workers. In some instances, fruit thinning will be done from a six-foot ladder weighing up to 30 lbs. All workers must be able to lift and carry ladder, as well as work form the top of the ladder. Rows will be assigned to each worker, and it is the responsibility of the worker to complete the trees on the row according to the supervisor's instructions. Limbs must not be torn from the tree, nor should limbs be completely stripped of leaves or fruit. Proper spacing and selection of fruit are critical to maximizing the trees, potential yield. Fruit thinners will thin fruit using hands and/or plastic bat to knock off excess fruit taking care to walk around entire tree before moving to the nest. Workers will be required to pick up and return thinning ladders to the ladder wagon provided by the grower at the end of each workday or as directed by the grower or designed supervisor. Pay - Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR): $12.14 per hour guarantee. ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is February 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Friday 7 hours per day and 5 hours on Saturday . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G.
Housing and Board:
See ETA 790 . Meals (Board): See ETA 790 . Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of H-2A workers: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
