Team-Oriented Culture Your Role:
Equipment Maintenance Technician II As an Equipment Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing field irrigation systems and farm equipment to ensure smooth and efficient agricultural operations. This position is primarily field-based and requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. What You'll Do Inspect, repair, and maintain irrigation pipes, valves, fittings, and water lines Troubleshoot and repair farm equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems) Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Operate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers Transport tools and materials to job sites using company vehicles Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces, tools, and equipment Document maintenance activities and report major issues to leadership Follow all safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Support additional maintenance tasks as needed What You Need to Succeed 1-2 years of experience in equipment or irrigation maintenance preferred Experience with agricultural equipment or mechanical systems is a plus Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to operate or willingness to learn heavy equipment Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required Technical training or certifications in maintenance or mechanics preferred Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold) Exposure to dirt, dust, grease, and loud environments Frequent walking on uneven terrain Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods Occasional extended hours depending on business needs Key Skills & Competencies Mechanical Repair & Troubleshooting Irrigation System Maintenance Equipment Operation Preventative Maintenance Safety Awareness Time Management Attention to Detail Problem Solving Communication & Teamwork Self-Motivation Adaptability to Outdoor Work Be Part of Something Fresh!
