Start Time:

Flexible between 8:00 AM•10:00 AM (must complete full 8-hour day) Opportunity to grow into additional hours for the right person About the Role We're looking for someone to join us for our weekly wash and pack day, along with helping with seed starting and light greenhouse tasks. This is a hands-on role that combines efficiency-focused work with more intentional, slower-paced tasks. You'll play an important part in preparing high-quality food for our customers each week and helping start the next round of crops on the farm. What You'll Be Doing Washing and prepping produce Sorting and packing customer orders (meat, eggs, vegetables) Labeling and organizing items for market and pickup Making seed trays with soil Seeding trays, watering, and assisting with seedling care Keeping wash/pack and greenhouse areas clean and efficient Occasional light farm tasks as needed What This Job Is Like Work is mostly under shade with fans, or inside walk-in coolers/freezers A mix of repetitive tasks and slower, detail-oriented work Requires working with speed and intention , especially on pack days Standing for extended periods, with opportunities to sit for certain tasks when appropriate (as long as workflow remains efficient) Some lifting (generally under 40 lbs) Small team or independent work in a quiet, low-drama environment Who This Is a Good Fit For Works quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things right Enjoys hands-on, productive work Comfortable moving between coolers/freezers and warm outdoor spaces Reliable and able to commit to the same day each week This Is NOT the Right Fit If You cannot commit to the same weekly day (Thursday or Friday) You prefer slow-paced or low-output work You need constant direction to stay on task You're uncomfortable with repetitive work You are not consistent or reliable week-to-week Bonus (Not Required) Interest in farming, gardening, or local food systems Previous experience with plants, food handling, or packing Comfortable around kids and a working farm environment Pay $15/hour to start. Team members who are consistent and efficient typically receive a raise at 6 months, with opportunity for additional hours over time.
