We need seasonal employees to assist with our corn, wheat, and cotton crop production season. Employees will be responsible for performing all assigned duties related to planting, cultivating, maintaining, and harvesting these crops, as well as general farm and equipment operations. Job duties include preparing fields and soil for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, seed drills, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation systems, and other farm machinery; engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, irrigating, and harvesting activities; applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions to control insects, weeds, fungus, and disease; irrigating soil using portable pipes, ditch systems, and pivot irrigation systems, including installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation equipment; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, and hand trucks; loading hoppers, containers, and conveyors; manipulating controls to activate, set, and adjust machinery; observing equipment operation to detect malfunctions; inspecting, adjusting, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on farm and irrigation equipment; recording agricultural data as required; cleaning work areas, equipment, and facilities; maintaining farm grounds, buildings, fences, and other structures; disassembling, repairing, installing, lubricating, cleaning, and reassembling machinery and equipment using hand tools and machine tools; and performing other general farm duties as assigned.
