Exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing/pulling, sitting/walking, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements. Employer has criminal background check requirements.Details:
Workers will perform any combination of the following tasks: feeding and or watering livestock (cattle/horses) as needed; herd livestock to pastures for grazing; examine animals to detect diseases and or injuries; make herd health evaluations as needed; manually restraining animals; herding livestock; apply medications/vaccinations to livestock, spray livestock with insecticide; assist with castrations; ear notch, tag and hot brand livestock; must be able to ride and handle horses in a manner to ensure safety of worker, co-workers and the animals while herding, castrating, branding, tagging, vaccinating and feeding cattle. Horse care includes stall cleaning, feeding and training. Must be able to cut, spray herbicide and clear brush on property and fence rows with hand tools, chainsaws, repair/maintain fences; install and repair water lines and maintain water tanks/troughs. Must be willing to and be able to work on horseback and or on foot, must be able to operate farm/ranch equipment (tractors, skid steers, ATV, etc); must be able to operate tractor for pasture care management (spraying, fertilizing, shredding, pest control) and to feed livestock. Employees will be required to mow, weed eat and maintain grounds. Employees will work outdoors with exposure to extreme temperatures, poisonous snakes and predators. •SEE ETA 790 FOR FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
