Basic Job Requirements:

Exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing/pulling, sitting/walking, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements.

Details:

Workers will be required to do all tasks related to preparing, planting, irrigating, maintaining, and harvesting all crops and fallow ground. Workers will be required to prepare the fields for planting. They will plant, cultivate, and harvest crops. They will plant crops from seeds. They will till the soil and remove the weeds. This will require the use of tractors, shovels, hoes, and other tools. Workers will be required to irrigate the crops. The workers spread plastic by unrolling and then removing by hand once irrigation is complete. They will maintain irrigation systems, repair leaks in underground drip tape, adjust nozzles and other parts on sprinkler systems, and any other maintenance the systems need. Workers will mow, cut, and weed crops, fallow ground, and ag facilities. •
