Duties may include:
Preparation and care of yearling stocker cattle from time received to time of sale. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: fence maintenance (electric, smooth and barbed wire fencing), setting up feed and watering points, regular management of watering points, distribution of 50lb sacks of mineral/supplements and hay to cattle for feeding. Travel to various pasture locations where cattle are located. Close and daily observation of all cattle, administrating appropriate medications as necessary. Operation of various agricultural equipment required. 1 hour lunch break offered. Internet in housing provided & other related Farmworker activities as per
SOC/OES 45-2093
(onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
