Temporary work from:
7/1/26 - 4/30/27. Workers will be engaged in the coordination, operation, and support of agricultural production activities across crop and livestock operations. Primary duties include operating and assisting with a range of farm machinery such as tractors, planting and tillage implements, harvesting equipment, sprayers, grain handling systems, and transport vehicles used in the movement of agricultural commodities. Workers will play an active role in crop production cycles by assisting with field preparation, planting support, cultivation, and harvest operations. Employees will be responsible for staging and transporting harvested crops from fields to storage locations, including grain bins and elevators, using trucks, grain carts, and related equipment. Workers will assist with monitoring crop flow, ensuring proper loading/unloading procedures, and maintaining efficiency in harvest logistics. Application of agricultural chemicals and nutrients may be required through the use of spray equipment, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and proper handling standards. Workers will also support post-harvest handling activities, including assisting with grain bin management, climbing ladders for inspection, and monitoring storage conditions. This role places emphasis on equipment readiness and operational continuity. Workers will routinely inspect, service, and assist in maintaining farm machinery to ensure proper functionality. Responsibilities may include cleaning, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and assisting mechanics or supervisors with equipment upkeep. In addition to crop-related responsibilities, workers will support livestock operations as needed. Duties may include feeding cattle, maintaining water sources, checking pasture conditions, and monitoring livestock for general health and wellbeing. Workers may also assist periodically with tasks associated with dairy goat operations, depending on operational needs. Workers may be assigned to general farm support functions, including irrigation setup and monitoring, fence repair, facility upkeep, and maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment yards. Applicants must have at least three (3) months of experience working in an agricultural environment involving the operation of large farm equipment, including tractors of 500 horsepower or greater. A valid drivers license is required to operate and transport vehicles and equipment between work locations. Due to the seasonal and operational demands of agricultural production, particularly during peak activity periods such as planting, harvesting, and crop transitions, workers must be available to work extended schedules. This may include up to seven (7) days per week and up to 100 hours per week when necessary. Drug screening may be conducted after hire in the event of an accident or incident at the employers expense, and failure or refusal to submit to a required drug test may result in immediate termination.
