This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your technical expertise to ensure lush, healthy landscapes. You'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting irrigation equipment while supporting overall landscape maintenance efforts. Responsibilities Install, inspect, repair, and maintain irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even coverage and optimal water distribution across landscaped areas Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, and planting to support overall site health Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects while adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members on large-scale landscaping projects requiring technical precision and mechanical knowledge Maintain accurate records of system repairs, installations, and inspections for ongoing system performance tracking Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience working with irrigation systems and landscaping equipment Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and horticulture principles Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators for installation or repair tasks Experience working with irrigation components including valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, and piping systems Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting system issues Knowledge of landscaping best practices and land management techniques is a plus Two-Wire irrigation system knowledge a plus, but not required Licenses and certifications related to landscaping or irrigation are a plus, but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a tangible impact on outdoor environments!
