This position plays a critical role in ensuring our irrigation systems are designed, installed, and transitioned successfully from project kickoff through completion. The ideal candidate has strong technical irrigation knowledge, enjoys working both in the office and in the field, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work while helping develop others. Key Responsibilities Design irrigation systems for landscape construction projects. Prepare accurate material takeoffs and project bids. Coordinate with the Design team to ensure irrigation plans meet project requirements. Oversee irrigation installation quality throughout construction. Provide field training and technical support to installation crews. Assist crews in troubleshooting and resolving irrigation issues. Help ensure newly installed plant material receives proper irrigation during establishment. Coordinate project handoffs with the Property Care team to ensure a smooth transition after project completion. Partner with the Irrigation Manager to identify opportunities for improved installation methods, efficiencies, and crew training. Promote quality, safety, and Sunline's standards on every project. Qualifications Experience designing and installing commercial landscape irrigation systems. Strong understanding of irrigation components, hydraulics, controllers, valves, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret landscape and irrigation plans. Experience estimating materials and preparing project bids preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with office staff, project managers, and field crews. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
