This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, handle diverse farm operations, and contribute directly to the growth and care of crops, livestock, and equipment. We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, take initiative, and bring enthusiasm to every task. Whether you're experienced in farming or new to agriculture, this position provides a rewarding chance to develop hands-on skills in a supportive setting. Duties Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of livestock such as cattle, horses, or poultry Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment including tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and power tools Perform routine equipment repairs and welding to ensure all machinery functions smoothly Manage crop cultivation activities such as planting, watering via irrigation systems, pruning, harvesting, and greenhouse maintenance Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks involving fencing, hay bales, feed bags, and other farm materials Supervise seasonal workers or volunteers during busy periods to ensure safety and productivity Conduct regular inspections of farm infrastructure including barns, greenhouses, fences, and irrigation setups to identify maintenance needs Requirements Prior experience in supervising or leading teams on a farm or agricultural setting is preferred Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and perform basic repairs Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal husbandry practices across various species Familiarity with farm machinery operation including tractors, forklifts (certification preferred), and hand tools Experience in horticulture or greenhouse management is advantageous Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in varying weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, record keeping, and inventory management Knowledge of irrigation systems and crop growing techniques is a plus Welding skills for equipment repair or fabrication projects are desirable Join us to grow your career in agriculture while making a tangible impact on our farm's success!
