Job Description
This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors and make a visible, lasting impact on Utah Valley University's campus by helping maintain the irrigation systems that support approximately 300 acres of university property. The role involves repairing and installing valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads, operating light equipment, and assisting with irrigation drawings and system updates. Each day brings hands-on, problem-solving work that directly contributes to the health, appearance, and sustainability of campus landscapes. In this role, you gain experience with advanced irrigation technology such as the Maxicom 2 system, pump stations, filtration systems, and fountains, while also supporting culinary water repairs and collaborative field operations. Performs snow removal in a safe and timely fashion on all UVU properties. Graduated with a standard high school diploma or the equivalent plus one to three years of experience related to key roles and responsibilities.
