This paid position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, sales and store management. You will assist with daily plant care, maintenance, and operational tasks that ensure optimal care for plant condition. If you're passionate about gardening, outdoor work, and working with plants, and people this role is perfect for you to grow your skills. Duties • Assist in customer service and sales to wholesale customers Assist with watering and irrigation systems to maintain proper moisture levels for various plants Support plant care, weeding and pruning activities within the sales area Identify different plant species and monitor plant health. Maintain cleanliness and organization of varieties Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic mechanical understanding of greenhouse equipment Familiarity with hand tools, gardening tools, and outdoor maintenance equipment Ability to identify various plant species and assess their health status Physical ability for lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward plant care and safety
