Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and have a high attention to detail. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for vineyards. This role requires hands-on experience with both hand tools and power tools, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality service. Duties Install and maintain irrigation systems. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation issues, including leaks, broken pipes, and malfunctioning components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and repair tasks. Dig trenches for irrigation lines and build necessary structures to support the system. Follow direction of vineyard manager to ensure proper watering schedules are followed. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to dig trenches, build structures, and perform physical labor as required. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
