At AIC Cultivators we strive to produce quality cannabis and cannabis products for an affordable price. We are a tier 3 Cultivator and tier 2 manufacture in Brattleboro, VT. looking to fill a full-time production technician position. Ideal candidates;

• will have experience in cannabis processing and production (willing to train the right entry level candidate)
• Should have Great attendance Hours Monday
• Friday 9am-5pm

Pay:

$17 to $18 per hour depending on experience.

Job Description Position:

Production Technician (Processing)

Overview:

A Production Technician is responsible for cannabis plant care in all stages of growth not limited to but including germination, propagation, vegetative stages, flowering and harvest. Additionally Production Technicians are responsible for all aspects of plant processing from crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team. These responsibilities include trimming, assembling completed product materials into various containers and packages as well as ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and acts with professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and processing equipment. All qualified applicants will be trained in the use of equipment for processing.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

• Clone, transplant, water, fertilize, prune, trellis, defoliate, inspect for pathogens, identify toxicities and deficiencies, top, bud, and low stress train cannabis plants.
• Cleaning or sterilizing all associated equipment used in the cultivation process as well as the grow rooms, transplant, wash, and general storage areas.
• Observe, record and report information to the supervisory team about plant growth, pathogens, and environmental disturbances.
• Maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards and in acceptable condition for best practices with the plants.
• Assisting in the harvest and post-harvest plant processing of cannabis.
• Fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, recording, inspection of product in addition to cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Hand trim fan leaves from plants before harvest using proper equipment.
• Transport harvested plants to drying and hang to be dried.
• Weigh, package, label, record/track cannabis for distribution.
• Take instructions and assist on tasks as delegated by the management team.
• Work in a quick and efficient manner.
• Maintain a culture of professionalism and service.
• Ensure daily compliance with policies including but not limited to; state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code and work schedules.
• Comply with all HR policies. Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
• Ability to work in hot humid and or cool dry conditions on concrete for long periods of time, sitting, standing, walking around, and performing manual labor associated with plant care and production.
• Strong interpersonal skills including listening, and communication.
• Ability to take direction, comprehend, and complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
• Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
