  • Full-time Leland Lawn is seeking to hire someone to work full-time as an Irrigation Technician and join our team.
This position requires one to be responsible for maintaining residential and commercial irrigation systems. Maintenance services include spring startup, repairs, troubleshooting issues, minor modifications, and winterization. Must be organized, reliable, have good communication skills and be highly motivated with a strong work ethic. Duties include but not limited to: Installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of sprinkler systems. Seasonal start up and winterization of sprinkler systems. Operation of power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain and repair irrigation systems and related components including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, controllers, valves etc. Ability to plan and organize sufficient resources, materials and supplies are available to ensure jobs are completed in the most time-efficient manner. Other duties related to Landscaping services may be required. Must be able to work independently and/or with other crew members and be teachable. Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs, walk over 5-10 miles per day, and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Must not have major allergies to plants or dust or bee/wasp stings. Must be timely and have reliable transportation of getting to work. Must be available full time Monday through Friday. Due to the seasonality of our work, you must be available to work with other departments performing various lawn/landscape maintenance related services, and some overtime/weekends may be required. Duties also include snow removal during the winter season.
