Whether you're diagnosing a leak, repairing a valve, or installing a new zone, you take pride in doing the job right. About the Role As an Irrigation Technician, you will perform hands-on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems. This is a technical, field-based role focused safe, efficient execution of assigned work. This role does not require crew leadership but offers clear opportunities for pay and skill progression as your irrigation knowledge grows. You'll work closely with inspectors, foremen, and managers and be part of a supportive, collaborative irrigation team. Spanish is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including rotors, spray heads, valves, clock/controllers, and mainlines Troubleshoot common hydraulic and electrical irrigation issues Perform seasonal system start-ups, shut-downs, and adjustments Identify leaks, pressure issues, coverage problems, and malfunctioning components Follow irrigation plans, instructions, and company quality standards Use hand tools, power tools, and trenching equipment safely Maintain clean, organized job sites and accurate work completion Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates regarding job progress and issues Follow safety procedures Skills Basic understanding of irrigation components and systems Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with guidance Comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work in all weather Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and technologies Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications 1-3 years of irrigation or landscape maintenance experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate) Driver's license is a plus Ability to follow instructions and company safety standards Certifications (CIT, backflow, or similar) are a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Ability to walk job sites and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Benefits Benefits include: Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Why Join Us?
