We are seeking a mechanically-minded Irrigation & Sprinkler System Specialist to manage residential and commercial water systems throughout the Chippewa Valley. This isn't just a labor job; it's a technical role perfect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, mechanical puzzles, and working independently outdoors.

Core Responsibilities Diagnostic Troubleshooting:

Utilize specialized equipment (multimeters, locators) to identify electrical and mechanical failures in valves, pumps, and controllers.

Service & Repair:

Execute precision repairs on various irrigation components, ensuring system integrity and water efficiency.

Seasonal Operations:

Manage critical spring activations and fall system winterization/blow-outs.

Technical Maintenance:

Provide routine care for centrifugal and submersible pumps.

Field Reporting:

Document all inspections, parts utilized, and system adjustments accurately.

What We Look For Mechanical Aptitude:

Background in irrigation, plumbing, or hands-on mechanical repair.

Field Independence:

Ability to navigate a daily route and solve complex problems on-site with close attention to detail.

Physical Capability:

Comfortable lifting 60+ lbs and working in varying Wisconsin weather conditions.

Equipment Skills:

Proficiency with power tools and small digging machinery. Mandatory Hiring Requirements Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history. Consistent, reliable transportation. Must be punctual, professional, and able to pass a standard background check.

Pay & Schedule Compensation:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour (Starting rate depends on field experience).

Performance Review:

Opportunity for a wage increase following a 60-day introductory period.

Hours:

Typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Term:

Seasonal (April - November), with potential year-round opportunities in snow removal.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
