Job Description
Johnson's Nursery is seeking a Propagation Worker to assist the Propagator with activities related to growing hardy landscape plants, including trees, shrubs, and perennials. Other duties involve planting, pruning, potting, watering, staking, preparing and sticking cuttings, seed collecting and processing, and weed control. Position Details Full-time, seasonal employment. (March-December), 8 hours per day with the potential for overtime. Job Description Assist the propagator with activities related to growing hardy landscape plants, including trees, shrubs, and perennials. Plant maintenance includes planting, pruning, potting, watering, staking, preparing and sticking cuttings, seed collecting, and processing, and weed control. Assist other departments as requested. Qualifications Interested in growing plants and a desire to gain knowledge to become a better worker. Required to be a productive, self-motivated worker. Capable of fast-paced repetitive work. Able to safely lift 50 pounds. Benefits & Compensation $11.00-$14.00 per hour depending on experience.
