Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our livestock farm team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, values teamwork, and wants to develop practical agricultural skills in a hands-on environment. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, this role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about agriculture and animal care. Responsibilities Daily care and handling of livestock including feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health. Assisting with routine farm operations and maintenance Working cooperatively with fellow employees and farm management Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Perform equipment repairs, welding, and basic maintenance to ensure all farm tools and machinery are in optimal condition. Manage heavy lifting tasks and operate forklifts or other heavy machinery to move supplies or livestock safely. General farm labor and facility upkeep Qualifications Ability and willingness to work with animals and coworkers Strong work ethic and reliability Valid driver's license required Mechanical aptitude or repair experience is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Previous livestock or farm experience is helpful but not required Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and teamwork.
