Job Description
United Liquid Waste is a Family-Owned and Operated company that utilizes many recycling methods to turn various wastes into beneficial field nutrients. Because of that, we have a thriving farming division! Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operation of farming equipment including: Tractors Drag Hoses Irrigation Equipment
- Take direction from the transportation and field managers to ensure the proper fields are addressed in a timely fashion.
- Assist with the maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain facilities.
- Participate in strategic planning processes and company meetings. Knowledge of agricultural practices and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. (CDL preferred) Physical and Mental Demands
- The employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, squat, climb, carry, and use hands to operate equipment/machinery.
- Exposure to weather elements, including rain, snow, heat, and cold weather depending on the season.
- Lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs. frequently and in excess of 75 lb. infrequently.
- Employee will be exposed to unpleasant odors, muddy fields, mud, grease, dirt and grime, wet floors and/or fields, and machinery noise when working.
- Working with and around moving equipment and must be aware of surroundings at all times.
- Exposure to farm machinery such as tractors, wagons, gators, bailers, and pick-up trucks.
- Exposure to road and field hazards when operating equipment and driving to/from different farming sites.
