Job Description

Farm Laborer / Equipment Mechanic Raw Resources Group is seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to assist with day-to-day farm operations, equipment maintenance, and general property upkeep. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems in the field, and handling a wide variety of responsibilities without constant supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience with farm work, mechanical repair, and operation of tractors and heavy equipment. No two days are exactly the same, so versatility and a strong work ethic are essential. Responsibilities Perform general farm labor, including hay work, fence installation and repair, brush clearing, mowing, and property maintenance Operate tractors, skid steers, trailers, and other farm or heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on equipment, trucks, trailers, and small engines Assist with welding, fabrication, and repair projects as needed Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and serviceable condition Monitor equipment for operational or safety concerns and report major repair needs Support other operational or maintenance-related tasks as assigned Qualifications Experience with farm operations, heavy equipment, or mechanical maintenance preferred Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, trailers, and equipment maintenance strongly preferred Welding or fabrication experience is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Common sense and problem-solving ability Someone who takes pride in maintaining equipment and property properly Willingness to handle a variety of tasks as operational needs change Competitive pay will be based on experience and skill level.
