Arizona , Yuma Job Description A Phoenix area family-owned organic farm is looking to hire an Experienced Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of their organic farming operations. This exciting opportunity is ideal for candidates who have a minimum of 10 years' experience and a proven background in longevity of employment. The company grows over 100 varieties of organic vegetables and heirloom crops.
Farm Manager Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee 65 local acres of organically grown heirloom tomatoes, vegetables, and more Able to travel to New Mexico and oversee various pepper crops Ensure efficient operation of farm equipment and promptly address maintenance issues Provide strong leadership and have a full understanding of organic farming practices
Farm Manager Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in a farm managerial role Strong leadership and people management skills Experience in crop rotation and sustainable/organic practices Passion for agriculture and a commitment to fostering a supportive community Ensure compliance with organic certification standards A strong understanding of irrigation systems, equipment operations, and maintenance Please submit a current resume for consideration.
