Farm Manager, Vegetable

Growing Vegetable Market Farm is looking for help to expand this season.

Responsibilities:

• Planning of crop timing from start to harvest
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
• Use hand tools and equipment to assist in the growing and harvesting process
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• packaging and ready for delivery
• prefer 8 hr shifts
• can be flexible, pay rate based on experience

Experience:

• Previous experience with vegetables in a similar role is preferred
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
• Knowledge of agricultural practices and techniques is required
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
