Job Description

IPM Manager - Agricultural Ornamentals We are seeking an experienced and motivated IPM Manager to oversee integrated pest management programs within our agricultural ornamental operations. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and hands-on knowledge of pest and disease management in ornamental crops. Nature's Way Farms is one of South Florida's largest growers of tropical landscape shrubs and ornamental plants. With over 40 years of experience and hundreds of acres in production, we proudly supply garden centers and major retailers across the country. Responsibilities Manage and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs for ornamental crops Monitor pest populations and recommend effective treatment strategies Supervise and manage staff while maintaining a productive team environment Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory using computer systems Follow company protocols and take direction from management Ensure timely follow-through on tasks, scouting reports, and treatment schedules Train employees on IPM procedures, safety, and best practices Work closely with production teams to maintain healthy, high-quality crops Qualifications Strong knowledge of pest management and IPM practices in agricultural ornamentals Previous supervisory or staff management experience preferred Comfortable using computers and digital recordkeeping systems Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to follow guidance and work independently when needed Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through Valid driver's license a must with a good record Equal Opportunity Employer/Drug free workplace We encourage applications from candidates regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, marital status or veteran status.
