Cannabis Grow Manager Salary:
$45,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Cannabis Grow Manager to oversee all aspects of commercial cannabis cultivation operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on cultivation experience and a strong understanding of plant health, environmental controls, irrigation strategies, and production scheduling. This role is responsible for maximizing plant quality, yields, compliance, and operational efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage all stages of cannabis cultivation including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, harvesting, drying, and curing. Monitor and maintain environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, VPD, CO₂, airflow, and lighting. Monitor and adjust nutrient programs using EC and pH measurements. Identify and resolve plant health issues including nutrient deficiencies, toxicities, pests, pathogens, and environmental stressors. Develop and execute canopy management strategies including topping, pruning, defoliation, trellising, and training techniques. Monitor and optimize PPFD, DLI, and lighting schedules to maximize plant performance. Utilize cultivation management systems and environmental control platforms such as Agrotek, TrolMaster, Growlink, or similar systems. Train, supervise, and schedule cultivation staff. Maintain accurate cultivation records and ensure compliance with all state regulations and company SOPs. Coordinate harvest planning and production schedules to meet business goals. Collaborate with leadership to improve yields, quality, efficiency, and cost control. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience. Experience managing a cultivation team in a regulated cannabis facility. Strong understanding of:
EC and pH management Environmental controls PPFD and lighting optimization Canopy management techniques Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Plant nutrition and diagnostics Experience with Agrotek, TrolMaster, Growlink, or similar environmental control systems. Ability to identify nutrient deficiencies, pests, diseases, and environmental issues. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in cultivation environments for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Cannabis cultivation certifications or horticulture/agriculture education. Experience with hydroponic, coco, or automated irrigation systems. Experience managing large-scale commercial cultivation facilities.
