Grain Originator & Manager

One of our top clients in West Missouri is looking to hire an Facility Manager . They will oversee the origination and operations of the grain facility. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary, healthcare (75% paid by Company), Dental, Vision, 401K with 3% matching, a company vehicle to use at the location and the location will always have 1 person doing the actual physical labor.

Responsibilities:

Origination is 75% of the role: buying grain from local farmers, following/understanding the market, calls and f2f visits with farmers. Grain Operations is 25%: oversight of loading out trucks, Oversight of physically moving out grain, weighing out trucks/scales. Inside of harvest those roles flip on their percentages.

Requirements:

3-5 years grain handling experience Working knowledge of industrial or farm products/services Must be able to maintain and develop relationships with customers Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team Salary range: $65-$85k base (dependent on the candidates' experience). Employer is also looking at adding a commission structure to the role in the future.
