Job Description
Cultivation Manager We are seeking an experienced Cultivation Manager to lead our greenhouse cannabis cultivation operations. This position is responsible for managing environmental controls, irrigation, crop production, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), compliance, and cultivation staff to ensure consistent, high-quality production while maintaining regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Manage greenhouse environmental controls using Growlink, including cultivar-specific climate settings and seasonal adjustments. Develop and oversee irrigation and fertigation programs utilizing Dosatron, Dramm, and related systems. Oversee nursery operations, mother plants, propagation, cloning, vegetative production, crop scheduling, and harvest planning. Evaluate plant genetics, monitor crop performance, interpret laboratory analyses, and implement cultivation improvements that maximize yield, quality, and consistency. Develop and execute IPM programs utilizing biological and chemical controls while maintaining strict sanitation and biosecurity standards. Lead, train, schedule, and supervise cultivation staff, ensuring productivity, accountability, and a safe work environment. Manage cultivation inventory, vendor relationships, purchasing, harvest coordination, and batch tracking. Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations and maintain accurate records using METRC, Flourish, and other seed-to-sale tracking systems. Troubleshoot cultivation equipment and facility systems while supporting continuous operational improvements. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience, including leadership or management experience. Strong knowledge of greenhouse cultivation, environmental controls, irrigation, fertigation, nutrient management, and cannabis production. Experience with Growlink, METRC, and Flourish preferred. Extensive knowledge of cannabis propagation, crop scheduling, genetics evaluation, Integrated Pest Management, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Ability to work in a greenhouse environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
