The Game Ranch Manager will supervise and assist two (2) ranch hands to assist Sola Fe Ranch in producing deer and antelope that is marketable in the hunting and meat industry. Species include Sable, Kudu, Impala, Dama Gazelle, Blackbuck, Scimitar Horned Oryx, and Fallow deer. Responsible for assisting with Game genetic management, feeding strategies, bloodline management, and pedigree. Required to assist with Tagging, DNA sampling and identifying new breeding animals during the fawning and breeding season, and assisting with Sawing antlers, collecting bucks, and artificial insemination during the rut season. Responsible for assisting and overseeing darting and medicine administration for game/wildlife, assist with Game/wildlife disease control and prevention, and assist and oversee in the maintenance of pastures, fences, and feed stations. Responsible for assisting and overseeing in the seasonal preparations of pastures for new fawns, assisting and overseeing daily feed and water of all animals, and assisting with Game feed management/planning for optimized feeding strategies. Associates degree in Farm and Ranch Management, Game Management, Agriculture or related field or foreign equivalent, and at least two (2) years of related ranch management experience.
