  • Full-time Job Summary Roza Hills Vineyards, LLC, dba Silver Lake Wine & Spirits, the producer of Silver Lake Wines and Vitis Spirits, is seeking a Full-Time Vineyard Manager at our Zillah, WA location.
The Vineyard Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of vineyard operations, grape sales and customer relationships, and the collection, analysis, and entry of vineyard production data. The successful candidate will oversee vineyard activities, maintain accurate records, support crop quality and yield objectives, and actively market and sell grapes to wineries throughout Washington State and beyond. This position requires some weekend work to assist in the tasting room and marketing events as required. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager/Winemaker and the ownership to continue developing premium wines and spirits while supporting operational growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all vineyard operations including pruning, canopy management, irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease control, crop estimation, and harvest activities.
  • Supervise vineyard employees, contractors, and seasonal labor crews.
  • Develop annual vineyard operating plans and budgets.
  • Monitor vine health, fruit quality, and crop load to achieve production targets.
  • Maintain compliance with agricultural, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collect vineyard data including spray records, irrigation records, labor activities, crop estimates, yield data, phenology observations, and harvest metrics.
  • Enter and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, vineyard management software, and reporting systems.
  • Prepare regular production, crop forecast, and operational reports for management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with winery customers and grape buyers.
  • Market and sell vineyard grape production, negotiate grape contracts, and coordinate delivery logistics.
  • Market and sell all wine and spirit bulk products
  • Manage customer communications regarding fruit availability, quality metrics, harvest timing, and contract fulfillment.
  • Track grape inventory, contracted tonnage, pricing, and customer commitments.
  • Coordinate sampling programs and communicate laboratory results to buyers. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Viticulture, Agriculture, Plant Science, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of vineyard management experience.
  • Strong understanding of wine grape production in Eastern Washington.
  • Experience with irrigation scheduling, pest management, crop estimation, and harvest logistics.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and data management systems.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting agricultural production data.
  • Sales, customer service, or agricultural marketing experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license.
