Job Description
Job description As a Hatchery Production Worker in Beatrice, Nebraska you will work in a live animal facility. Duties may include egg handling, hatch preparation, hatches, general labor and general clean up. This position also entails box making, stacking, packing and other general duties as assigned.
- Starting rate of pay $19.84 per hour for regular non-hatch days . Early start days (hatch days) has a $3.00 shift premium ($22.84 per hour) . On non-hatch days, shift begins at 6:45 a.m. . On hatch days (approximately 2 days a week), the shift begins at 3:45 a.m. . Wage Reviews - twice a year in May and November
- Average work week is 40-45+ hours
- Days of operation: Monday - Friday
- Work in a team environment
- Work with hatched turkeys (poults) in a state-of-the-art hatchery
- Maintain proper handling for the safety of the hatched turkeys (poults)
- Meet all the operating procedures as outlined by company policy
- Other duties as assigned Do you have the following requirements?

- Must have own transportation to and from work
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure
- Ability to handle moderate to heavy physical work, repetitive work
- Ability to complete general labor tasks as assigned
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
