Schedule:
Monday-Friday - 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

    This role focuses on sanitation, compliance, and maintaining equipment used in animal research settings while following strict standard operating procedures (SOPs). The technician will ensure proper cleaning, staging, and tracking of cages and lab equipment while supporting overall lab functionality. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a regulated lab environment with consistent processes and training.
    Responsibilities:
    • Wash, sanitize, and stage animal cages, racks, bottles, and related equipment according to SOPs
    • Track wash cycles, temperatures, and detergents while maintaining accurate logs and records
    • Move materials through proper dirty-to-clean flow and stage clean equipment and supplies
    • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow PPE requirements and hazard guidelines
    • Assist animal care staff with room turnover and supply support as needed
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Comfortable working around research animals and following sanitation procedures
    • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling equipment
    • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols
