Strawberry Picker

Strawberry Picker (Seasonal) We're hiring seasonal strawberry pickers for our organic berry farm. This is outdoor, physically active work during the strawberry harvest season. Responsibilities Pick ripe strawberries and sort them as directed Arrive on time and ready to work Stay focused and work efficiently throughout the shift Follow farm food-safety and quality standards Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sun, heat, humidity, light rain, and cooler temperatures Ability to identify ripe, underripe, and damaged berries Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, crouching, or sitting low to the ground for extended periods Ability to regularly lift and carry filled berry containers Reliable transportation and dependable attendance preferred Pay Compensation includes both hourly pay and piece-rate earnings. Employees are guaranteed at least applicable minimum wage, with opportunities to earn more based on productivity. Many of our top pickers earned over $20/hour during peak harvest days last season. Season & Schedule The strawberry season depends heavily on weather and crop conditions. Work is expected to begin around late May or early June and continue through approximately the Fourth of July. Scheduling and available hours may vary depending on berry ripeness, weather, and harvest volume.
