Job Description

Title:
Seasonal Horseback Riding Guides - Zion Mountain Ranch (2026 Season)
Location:
Scenic resort bordering the east end of
Zion National Park, UT Duration:
June - November 2026 (Potential for year-round employment) Start/End dates are flexible
Compensation:
$15/hr plus on-site housing and excellent tips
Position Summary:
Zion Mountain Ranch is seeking four seasonal Horseback Riding Guides to provide professional, scenic trail rides for our international guests. This rewarding role requires a passion for the outdoors, long hours in a ranch setting, and a commitment to providing an uplifting, memorable experience for every visitor.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead guided horseback rides through the scenic terrain bordering Zion National Park. Perform daily ranch hand duties, including feeding bison, chickens, and other livestock. Conduct essential ranch maintenance, such as fence repairs and general upkeep. Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hospitality to ensure a professional guest experience.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven horse riding experience is encouraged but required Please include your experience in your resumes. We receive many applications
Certifications:
Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification is required (may be obtained shortly after hire).
Character:
Applicants must be positive, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a drug and alcohol abuse-free environment.
Physical Demands:
Must be comfortable working long hours in various outdoor weather conditions.
