This role bridges crew execution, product consistency, and the guest experience. The FOH Utility is accountable for three core areas: front-of-house POS, inventory tracking and ordering support, and product quality control on the chicken. You are expected to make judgment calls, handle customer interactive POS functions, and hold the team to BHC standards when the GM is not present. POS ■ Open and close the POS system run end-of-day reports, submit H-Mart daily sales documentation, flag discrepancies ■ Process voids, refunds, and order corrections manager-level POS functions requiring lead authorization ■ Apply discounts and comps per BHC policy document each instance; escalate any unusual requests ■ Troubleshoot basic POS issues during service printer jams, connectivity, item errors; escalate hardware failures ■ Train new crew members on POS operation Inventory & Ordering Support ■ Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts track protein, packaging, dry goods, and condiments ■ Flag low-stock items to the GM maintain par levels and prevent mid-service shortages ■ Receive and verify deliveries count incoming product, check for damage or short shipments, sign off on delivery receipts ■ Log inventory discrepancies and waste accurate records support ordering decisions and cost control ■ Support the GM with ordering prep pull usage data and count sheets as needed Required ■ Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-casual or QSR environment ■ Demonstrated reliability — consistent attendance and punctuality ■ Comfort with POS systems and basic cash handling ■ California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire ■ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Preferred ■ Prior lead or shift supervisor experience ■ Experience with inventory counts or delivery receiving ■ Familiarity with fried chicken operations or knowledge of cook/hold temps ■ Bilingual (English / Korean or Cantonese) a plus for Hmart location
