Job Description

Position Summary The Pool Attendant Associate supports the daily operation, cleanliness, and guest experience of the resort's Natural Mineral Pool, located within the property's greenhouse atrium. This role combines customer service with some light plant work in a unique environment featuring warm mineral waters & tropical plant life. The attendant ensures pools, surrounding decks, and greenhouse spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming for guests throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Monitor Natural Mineral Pool and surrounding greenhouse areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort. Record pool water temperatures. Skim pools, remove debris, and maintain deck areas including seating, pathways, and plant displays. Replenish towels and mud for our Club Mud. Provide friendly assistance to guests, answer questions about pool usage and resort policies, and help maintain a relaxing atmosphere. Ensure compliance with posted safety rules and politely address unsafe behavior. Assist with light greenhouse upkeep such as watering plants, creating terrariums, and maintaining a tidy tropical environment. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Pool Department Manager. Support opening and closing procedures including basic cleaning tasks. Ability to work in warm, humid pool/greenhouse environment for extended periods. Strong attention to cleanliness and safety procedures. Excellent guest service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical work (walking, bending, standing). Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds Comfortable working in a physically active role and in varying temperatures, including indoor and outdoor spa environments Ability to work at high altitude in a mountain resort setting Skills & Competencies Attention to detail Time management Teamwork and cooperation Guest-focused mindset Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety practices (training provided)
