Amusement Ride Operator

Responsibilities Safely operate amusement rides and attractions while adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Ensure that all guests are properly secured and informed about ride procedures before operation. Monitor ride operations for any potential issues or malfunctions, reporting them promptly to supervisors. Provide exceptional guest service by greeting visitors warmly and addressing any questions or concerns. Manage conflicts or difficult situations with guests in a calm and professional manner. Assist with cash handling for ride tickets or merchandise as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ride area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times, including events and busy seasons. Requirements Previous experience in guest services, hospitality is required. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively. Experience working with children is a plus, as you will interact with families throughout the day. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial for managing ticket sales or concessions. Excellent public speaking skills for communicating safety instructions clearly to guests. A background in theater or performing arts can enhance guest interactions through engaging presentations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by park operations.
