We operate multiple concepts at the street level and at O'Hare International Airport. Our professional services division, LS41 Consulting, is part of the concession program management team for the Chicago Park District. Our responsibilities include administering all aspects of the concession program. This includes oversight of the Notice of Award (NOA) process (concession applications, evaluations and award); negotiation and enforcement of operating agreements and issuing site specific permits associated with those agreements. We are also responsible for oversight of the operational aspects of the the concession locations. This includes inspecting concession facilities and operations for health code compliance, as well as collecting fees on behalf of the Park District. Duties Visually examine concession areas to determine compliance with municipal ordinances and policies ( utilizing a check list). Complete online inspection reports and maintains electronic records of all activities /actions taken on all properties. Advises and explains codes, regulations, tenant agreement and procedures to tenants. Prepares scripted email with notices of violation and sends inspection report to tenants. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality. Reports all unsafe conditions and acts to supervisor. Participates in all staff meetings. Can work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and late evening. Schedules and attends meetings with stakeholders, prepares simple spreadsheets to collect data as needed. Provides customer service, answers general phone calls and emails and issue permits. Performs other duties as requested or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Qualifications Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills and time A vehicle is required for this position. Bachelor degree or 2 years of technical or business school and two (2) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the responsibilities. Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers. Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Work , Outlook) Confident in the use of computers and tablets. Assertive team player with positive attitude.
