This includes maintaining exceptional cleanliness, delivering outstanding customer service, conducting membership tours, preparing protein shakes, selling memberships and merchandise, and professionally enforcing gym policies. When management is not on-site, the Operations Associate is trusted to uphold the standards and reputation of Flex Fitness. Schedule This is a part-time position that includes: Early morning & afternoon-evening shifts Weekend availability Some flexibility is required based on business needs Primary Responsibilities Facility Operations & Cleanliness Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and professional facility throughout every shift. Clean and sanitize gym equipment, machines, benches, free weights, and high-touch surfaces. Maintain spotless locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and sauna. Keep floors, mirrors, windows, and common areas clean and presentable. Continuously re-rack weights and organize equipment throughout the gym. Empty trash and replace liners. Restock paper products, soap, cleaning supplies, and other essentials. Perform routine facility inspections. Report equipment maintenance or repair needs promptly. Move and reorganize equipment as needed. Take pride in presenting a facility that reflects the Flex Fitness brand. Member Experience Welcome every member and guest with professionalism and enthusiasm. Build positive relationships with members. Create a motivating, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere. Answer phones and respond to member questions. Assist members with general needs and concerns. Ensure every guest receives outstanding customer service. Membership Sales & Tours Conduct professional facility tours. Explain memberships, amenities, and services confidently. Assist prospective members in selecting the best membership. Help grow the Flex community through exceptional customer service Shake Shop & Retail Prepare protein shakes accurately and efficiently. Follow recipes and food safety standards. Sell supplements, apparel, drinks, and merchandise. Process purchases accurately through our point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean and organized shake bar. Operations & Accountability Professionally enforce gym policies and standards. Address policy violations respectfully and consistently. Help maintain a safe and positive training environment. Complete assigned opening, closing, and shift duties. Communicate concerns and maintenance issues to the Director of Operations. Complete daily checklists and assigned responsibilities independently. Qualifications Preferred experience in one or more of the following: Customer service Sales Retail Hospitality Food service Fitness industry Cleaning or facility maintenance Fitness industry experience is helpful but not required.
