Position Summary:
The Pier Utility Attendant Supervisor will successfully oversee the daily operations of the pier utility staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and up to standard. They will maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety, manage inventory, and provide exceptional service to both guests and crew.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily activities of the pier utility attendants, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and up to standard. Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on proper procedures and safety protocols. Ensure all food and supplies are received, handled, and stored correctly, maintaining accurate records of temperature control, labeling, and dating. Confirm that all deliveries are complete and invoiced accurately, addressing any issues with suppliers, and coordinating with the BOH team leads to discrepancies. Implement and maintain cleaning schedules for the pier areas, ensuring all spaces are kept clean, safe, and sanitary. Uphold the values of the Safety and Service System, ensuring both guests and crew experience a safe and welcoming environment. Enter and manage data in specified programs, maintaining accurate records for inventory and deliveries. Be prepared to begin work at the scheduled time. Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support overall operations. Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required At least two (2) years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to take direction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to guests, coworkers, and suppliers. Must possess a service orientation - actively looking for ways to help others. Basic computer skills required
