Beach and Cabana Attendant

Spouting Rock Beach Association (Bailey's Beach Club) is seeking Beach & Cabana Attendants for the summer season. This role is responsible for helping create a welcoming, organized, and service-focused beach experience for our members and guests. Located in Newport, Bailey's Beach Club is a private, member-owned family club established in 1897. Our members enjoy exceptional club facilities, breathtaking coastal views, and a rich tradition of excellence. The Club offers daily lunch service at our upscale snack bar and dinner six nights a week. Facilities include a private quarter-mile beach, member cabanas, a swimming pool, two full bars, an ice cream café, summer camp and six Har-Tru tennis courts. The Club operates daily from May 23rd to September 26th, 2026 , with seasonal positions available as early as May 18th.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and pool areas to Club standards Provide friendly and attentive service to members and guests throughout the day Assist with beach and cabana food and beverage delivery service Maintain cleanliness and organization of all beach, cabana, and pool areas Monitor member needs proactively and communicate effectively with the management team

Qualifications:

18 years or older Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift/move beach equipment, chairs, and umbrellas throughout the day. Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication and hospitality skills Ability to lift and move beach equipment as needed Availability to work weekends and holidays during the summer season What we offer our employees : Seasonal Incentive Bonus Competitive hourly rates
