About Us Boiler & Property Consulting (BPC), is a privately-held, family first company with commissions through XL Insurance America. We offer a range of jurisdictional inspection solutions to clients nationwide. We take pride in providing the best customer service in the industry and for holding the #1 position for lowest overdue % for a record number of months. Our team of 50+ inspectors throughout four regions is diverse and welcoming. In addition, our company president is a commissioned inspector and leads a super helpful home office staff. About You You are a dedicated, hard-working inspector who loves to help customers stay in compliance and operate safely. You enjoy daily variety and interacting with people. About the position This job posting is for a part-time jurisdictional inspector to handle a designated territory. The position is home based and offers lots of flexibility to schedule work that best fits you and the customer. We would prefer candidates who are in the area or are willing to move to this state for work, but if you feel you are a good fit for us, then please feel free to reach out. We are very flexible and can plan out a mutually beneficial work arrangement. What will you do in this role? Perform in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels Develop technical and deep understanding of the codes and regulations. Provide a high level of service in accordance with BPC standard work procedures Input completed inspections into the latest systems Consult with customer on repairs, maintenance programs, jurisdictional requirements, and other location specific issues Follow up and close out recommendations in a timely manner Help customers navigate jurisdictional laws and rules to keep them operating safely with the least amount of lost productivity. Minimum qualifications 2 or more years of working with boilers & pressure vessels National Board commission High School diploma or equivalent minimum Any additional education a plus, i.e., BS in Engineering, Associate's Degree A dog of any kind - (just kidding about that part) What's in it for you?
