Food Quality Analyst Location:
Brockport, NY Summary:
Nesco Resource is seeking a Food Quality Analyst to support quality assurance operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for auditing product quality, packaging accuracy, coding, weights, and food safety compliance throughout the production process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computers, and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.
Pay Rate:
$18.55 - $20.55/hour
Shift:
1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Occasional weekend, vacation, and overtime coverage may be required
Key Responsibilities:
Audit product quality attributes including grade, package coding, labeling, and weights Perform quality checks at intervals not to exceed 30 minutes Electronically document inspection results using company systems and software Review daily production schedules to ensure accurate product verification Ensure products meet all Federal and State food safety requirements Identify and report quality concerns or non-conformances Support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives Maintain accurate records and documentation Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met Follow all GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food safety procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Computer proficiency required Previous quality, food manufacturing, or production experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Food manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and production equipment Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift Ability to work in refrigerated production environments as needed Must follow all PPE, food safety, and workplace safety requirements at all times Overtime opportunities available during peak production periods Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
