Job Description
Job Overview Inspect various component parts throughout the plant, using simple gauges. Usually work on line or bench inspecting only a few repetitive characteristics. Responsible only for own work. Some visual inspection against standards. May pack parts in cartons after inspecting. Perform all related duties under this classification for the satisfactory completion of the job being worked on. Duties 1. Performs continuous, repetitive inspection involving a few simple gauges or visual attributes. 2. Generally picks up piece part or parts and gauges or visually inspects. 3. Returns passed pieces to line and segregates questionable material. 4. Informs supervisor or Patrol Lot Verification Inspector when piece parts do not conform to specification. 5. Pack finished parts and initial packed box. 6. Perform functional tests. 7. Regular and reliable attendance. 8. Maintain quality standards.
